Members of the Central Luzon District Council coming from the provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac & Aurora came together for the 30th district convention last December 28-30 in Palayan, City, Nueva Ecija. The event’s highlights were the consecration of new licenciates and commissioning of world missions missionaries. Several speakers were invited including the former district sup’t. Rev. Joel Mendoza who gave a lecture on ministerial ethics. Rev. Jay Angeles made a presentation on the Project Barnabas program of PGCAG World Missions Dep’t. Rev. Ben Asban, district sup’t. delivered a powerful keynote address during the first day of the convention.
World Missionaries Jay & Jen Angeles were re-commissioned by the World Missions Department and Central Luzon District. The Angeles family will now be based in Indonesia but will also include special assignment in East Timor, their previous field. Dr. Jay will remain as the director for the Project Barnabas (PB) short-term missions program of the PGCAG-WMD. Rolando & Liwanag Abriz were also commissioned to go to Cambodia starting next year as PB missionaries.
