Our Deepest Sympathy

Rev. Ben Asban, recently elected superintendent of Central Luzon District Council, thanks ministry partners who provided assistance during his son’s illness and now has gone on to be with our Lord:

Thank you very much for being with us in the difficult moments of our journey.  My son (Dain Jan B. Asban, 18 yrs old, 3rd year Education Student) who was diagnosed of Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma last January 7, 2010 went with the Lord yesterday at about 6:52 in the afternoon.  He struggled a lot with the infections brought forth his illness.  The Lord took him home and His will prevailed.  He knows what is best for Him and that is not debatable.  We give Him all the glory for lending him to us. We’ve enjoy his sweetness, thoughtfulness and love.  Surely the Lord rewarded him for his faithfulness in serving Him as a musician. He received his complete healing already.  We will miss him though but for sure we will be reunited one of these days.

His remains lies at Olongapo Memorial Chapel in Olongapo City, Philippines.  He will be laid to rest on February 3, 2010 at 9:00 in the morning. “Precious in the sight  of the Lord is the death of His saints.”  Rev. Asban’s contact details are the following:
