On June 25, 2007 the executive presbytery of the PGCAG approved (EP 21-07) a new district called the Global District Council (GDC). This district will provide an opportunity for Filipino churches outside the Philippines to be formally linked with PGCAG. At present Filipino A/G churches from eight countries have signified their interest to be part of GDC. An organizing convention is being planned to gather the constituents of this new district.

GS Calusay with Japan A/G General Council Executives together with Revs. Johnny Sato Gallos and Glen Gazzingan. Rev. Calusay was invited by Rev. Gallos to speak at their church anniversary (Fuji A/G Church) last November. This was a good opportunity to formally launch the Global District Council in Japan. An informal understanding was reached between Japan and Phils. general council regarding active cooperation between two bodies with regards to facilitation of missions work and the extent of a PGCAG global district operating in Japan. Other Filipinos have expressed their interest in joining this network in order to synergize various ministries already started there and hoping for a revitalized work in a place where very few people believe in Christ as Lord and only Sa
