On Jan. 22, 2009, the constituents of Western Visayas District Council also voted their officers: Rev. Jose Estrebella, district sup’t.; Rev. Edgar Germo, ass’t. district sup’t.; Rev. Angelina Sobretodo, district secretary; and Rev. Abner Bais, district treasurer.

Tri-District Prayer Conference

The 2nd NLDC, NIDC, NELDC Prayer Conference took place in Vigan, Ilocos Sur last Nov. 27-29, 2007. Featured speakerswere Revs. Linda and Mike Livengood, Graham Renouf, and our own General Sup’t., Rey Calusay. The meeting was also an opportunity for the leaders of the three districts to work more closely in fulfilling the task of reaching 5,000 churches by 2010. A special committee was also created to look into the overlapped boundaries of the three districts.

NELDC (Re)elects New Officers

The newly elected officers are: Revs. Laurence H. Nanglegan (re-elected), District Sup’t.; Urbano Batay-an (newly elected), Ass’t District Sup’t.; Juanito L. Balite (re-elected), District Secretary; and Sergio N. Lucas (re-elected), District Treasurer.

The convention was held at the SEFTON Bible Training Center in Santiago City, Isabela last March 20-22, 2007. Dr. Juan Lopez from CA, U.S.A. was the main speaker while Dr. Joseph Suico gave the morning lectures. Congratulations!

STDCians Elect New Set of Officers

During STDC’s 26th Annual Convention, a new set of officers were elected, they are: Rev. Gerry Cruz, District Sup’t.; Rev. Ric Alay, Ass’t. District Sup’t.; Rev. Cipriano Mortel, Jr., District Secretary; and Rev. Joel Sanoy, District Treasurer. The convention was well-attended with around 300 attendees including pastors, church delegates and general council officials.  Rev. Rey Calusay was the main speaker while Rev. Joseph Suico was invited to give a lecture during the Bible Hour sessions.
