In line with PGCAG’s goal to have 5,000 churches by 2010, the leaders of Northern Luzon District Council are currently training 43 men and women as church planters at the global missions center of APTS in Baguio City. The institute runs from Sept. 25 to Oct. 6, 2006.

Urgent Prayer Request!!

Here’s a letter PGCAG received from Bicol:

Our senior pastor, Rev. Salvador L. Belen, had an accident last night (Sept. 19th?). He was operated on early this morning because of blood clots in his brain. Right now he’s still in the recovery room. Attached are pictures taken of him this afternoon.

Ptr. Belen had been a Bicol District Superintendent for quite sometime.

We are appealing for prayers and financial help for him, since their funds are used primarily for their children’s schooling. Two of his children are graduating this school year; one from nursing, and another from dentistry. They’re also sending a grandchild to elementary school.

We are using our church funds to assist them now but due to the possible magnitude of the expenses, we are asking for help from others.

Thank you very much for whatever assistance you can provide for him. God bless you!

Very truly yours,

LILLIAN ALICE D. LOPEZ (ladlopez@gmail.com)
Church Secretary
