The ICA Filipino Ministries in HK pastored by Rev. Oral Paul Guevara held its Annual Church Summit last January 25-28. Other speakers were Rev. Zeny Calusay and Joseph Suico. This event is part of the ongoing thrust of ICA to train leaders and future ministers in the church. GS Rey & J. Suico also met with some Filipino A/G pastors in HK and Macau to introduce to them the goals and purposes of the newly created Global District Council.

During NLDC’s 54th district convention, Rev. Conrado Lumahan together with his co-officers prayed for the ministers and conventionists belonging to the two sections (south & central Cordillera) which form PGCAG’s 21st district. The Central Luzon District Council held its 28th annual convention last January 4-5, 2009 at the Luzon Baptist Camp in Lucanin, Mariveles, Bataan. Speakers were Revs. Joseph Suico, Alex Fuentes, and Joel Mendoza. The usual fare of intense basketball tournament between the various sections was one of the highlights of the event (of course!). The convention was culminated by the consecration of newly ordained and licensed ministers. The worship team also did a great job. Thanks to all participating churches who made our experience during the services, a truly refreshing one.
