2009

We greet all of you a happy new year! While 2009 may not be that promising to many people, we have confidence that “He who began a good work in us, will perform it until the day of his coming.”

Several district conventions will take place in a short while: Northwestern Visayas District Council (Dec. 29-31); Central Luzon District Council (Jan. 4-5); January 13-14 (Northern Luzon District Council); January 14-15 (Organizing Convention for South Central Cordillera Distric Council/Northern Ilocandia District Council; Western Visayas District Council (Jan. 20-22).

We also like to thank Eric Angeles and New Hope Int’l Christian Church (Long Beach, CA) for donating new sets of two-way radios to be used for the Cebu convention. The gencil-OneJob organizing committee meets on January 20 at ICS Mandaluyong. Please continue to pray for God’s provision for our needs, we really like the convention next year to be a real blessing to all.

NODC Convention

Newly elected district officials of Negros Occidental District Council (L-R, Revs. Melbert Fajarito (DS); Sonia Dequina (ADS); Johnny Lingco (DSec); Edgar Gatumbato (DTreas).  The convention was held at Calvary Temple in Bacolod City on December 16-18, 2008.

Tri-District Prayer Conference

Dr. Laurence Nanglegan presiding over the Tri-District (NIDC, NELDC, NLDC) Prayer Conference held recently in Santiago, Isabela at the Sefton Village last Dec. 2-4, 2008. Speakers for this event include Guy Peh, Rey Calusay, and Joseph Suico. The conference was well attended with over 1,000 people participating.
